Karen was on shutters and surrounds today, while I did a range of other jobs – work on the shower, removal of the old kitchen sink, some paid work, and some emails. There’s always admin-type stuff to be done even though we had hoped we’d leave much of that behind.
We got a call from a delivery man just before lunch, and had to go down to outside the mairie where we picked up Karen’s bike… finally. It’s taken a while. We also sent back our stained sofa cover to Ikea after many emails and phone calls, with them trying to tell us we could swap it at an Ikea store – no easy task when it is two hours away. They’re finally going to send us a new one and refund our postage. So they should. We haven’t been impressed with their after-sales service
Went for a run before dinner – a little warm and we might have been better in the early morning, but we hadn’t expected the day to warm up so much.
