We woke to lovely heavy rain, our first for ages. On going
out into town, we found it so fresh and clean, and even quite cool (well, at
least relatively cool). Since we will be passing our Céret tenants somewhere
between here and Dubai, we had to post off a set of keys to them, so got that
done, had a coffee and settled back into work after lunch.
We managed to get the curtain up around the cylinder and
storage in the bathroom, and it has made the bathroom feel a lot smarter and
larger as we hoped it would. Next will be the curtains around the bed.
The rain overnight had cooled the weather down a bit and for
the first time in 8 weeks, we kept the windows open all day as it never got
above 28 (a “sorry” to NZ readers here).
We didn’t even have the fans on overnight – perhaps the first time since
we received them.
