Great progress today. Our new phone number arrived in an
email from the firm we have bought it from and we dashed off to our friend at
the bank to have the security code validated (so we can use it). Unfortunately
we still have to wait to get the physical card – maybe tomorrow (except it is
Sat and the bank won’t be open!).
Spent the whole day painting and managed the second coat on
the ceiling and second coat on the walls. We are not sure if the wall colour is
warm enough. We wanted an off-white but it may be too white still. We will
paint the doors/door trim white and see how it all looks. The room is certainly
heaps brighter and a great improvement on the yellowy ceiling and orange walls.
It will pretty easy to put another coat on the walls.
Off to a well-earned demi-pichet
du vin rouge at the café and a catch-up on emails. Didn’t realise we were
so far behind with the blog (sorry folks) so dealt with that.
