Today is the 2nd of the 4 holidays this month,
this one being Victory Day, so we thought we should have a day off too. Having
a coffee at Café de France, we managed to catch Suzy & Tim on Skype. They
have just arrived in France for the best part of a month. We also ordered a
bike for Karen and a van for our trip to Montpellier IKEA on Thursday. It looks
like we can get it for 24 hours instead of just 8am to 6pm, which will make the
day a whole lot more manageable, as we also need to pick up some materials from
Castorama and Leroy Merlin on the way back.

After lunch was the much-awaited planting of the
window boxes! Another run, a bit of computer work and some French study rounded
out the day. We’re enjoying the more summery temperatures, with it staying up
around 20°
into the evenings now. We now feel very ‘French’ with our planter boxes hanging off our balcony rails.
